Helicopter Sighting
About 10 minutes ago, there was a helicopter hovering around the library and the Terrace area with a spotlight on. It circled the library a few times, then hovered over Terrace for a while. I called the University Police, and they said the helicopter was assisting in a search effort for a missing student.
Anybody have some more information on this?
idk but i can tell you that i walked into the mens room in Sondheim 5 minutes ago, and that place REEKS of pot

On Monday, November 9, a UMBC student left an off-campus residence
following a domestic discussion. The student’s boyfriend was concerned for
her safety and contacted Baltimore County Police, who mobilized in order
to locate her and contacted UMBC Police. The student was located on
campus and found to be safe.
That explanation sounds a little sketchy. A couple has an argument, the girl leaves, and the guy… calls a police manhunt on her, which results in her being found completely safe and minding her own business? Hmm.
so, girl leaves house, boyfriend freaks out, calls the popo, and there’s nothing wrong.
Advice:
girl - leave the boy.
guy - grow some balls.
police - don’t waste all that time/manpower/money on something so stupid next time.

Maybe she was the person smoking pot in the mens bathroom like anyone who knows me knows who this is said. I wonder if further police efforts will be exerted over this issue?

I certainly hope not, neebar. They have better things to be doing than bothering harmless students.
I think it shows a great deal of dedication on the police’s behalf to do this. I mean, sure it cost a lot but it was also really fucking cool, right?
eggzzz is right. she threatened her own life and ran out, causing the boyfriend to cause the cops.
